This is the least restrictive part of the plan which is designed to help you maintain your goal body shape and weight for life. It will provide a basis for a lifetime of weight control, healthy body fat levels, vitality and wellbeing. Starting Phase 3 means that you have achieved your targeted weight and body fat levels and are now ready to follow and Eating Plan that you can maintain for the rest of your life.
In this Phase you will gradually increase your carbohydrate intake by 5-10g per week as required and introduce more fruit and vegetables, grains and pulses from the higher sugar carbohydrate ranges, but in moderation until your start putting weight on.
In this phase your blood sugar levels will be back under control and you will have regained control of your cravings and your appetite. Phase 3 is the culmination of everything you have learned following the SlimBody4Life Healthy Eating Plan. You are now ready to take what you have learned and create your own recipes and menus for a lifetime of health eating. If at any stage you find yourself putting back on weight or body fat start again with Phase 2: The Ongoing Fat Burning Phase.
