SLIMBODY4LIFE MOVEMENT AND POSES

 

The SlimBody4Life movements and poses incorporate standing, lying, kneeling, seated and abdominal exercises and have been designed for overall conditioning and balancing and to treat you body as an integrated whole. You will learn to tone and strengthen your entire body.

The movements and poses are where the oxygen you have breathed meets the body. Once you have flooded your body with a large amount of oxygen you need to direct it throughout your body. The working muscles create tension in the body and the blood that’s carrying the oxygen is transported to these areas of tension. Here your aerobic processes combine the oxygen with your body fat to fuel the activity of your working muscles whilst your body’s cells absorb the readily available oxygen.

The movements and poses have been designed to work all your major muscle groups, helping to tone and shape and in the process creating more lean muscle tissue. This lean muscle tissue in turn demands more energy to sustain it with a consequential increase in the speed of your metabolism and so the opportunity to burn fat even when at rest.

The SlimBody4Life Method movements and poses are also designed to make you more flexible and stronger throughout your body and you will notice some similarities with the practices of Yoga and Pilates. There is also an emphasis on building core stability and abdominal strength enhancing your posture whilst developing a balanced body and healthy back.
