The Ongoing Fat Burn Phase is the next step in your journey and over the next two weeks you will continue to reduce your body fat and weight.
You will now have adjusted your blood sugar levels and the way you body responds to certain foods. You should have better control of you appetite and your cravings for particular foods will be inhibited and will continue to do so as long as you continue with the Plan. You will have adjusted your body so that you are eating fewer of the foods that may have caused cravings, and caused you to overeat or which contained additional kilojoules that caused you to store body fat. You are now way down the path to better controlling your body for ongoing weight and body fat management.
Your goal in this phase is to continue eating high-quality protein and “good fats” and ensuring that you continue obtaining the majority of your carbohydrate needs from vegetables whilst reintroducing moderate amounts of starchy and grain based carbohydrates, fruit and other carbohydrates of a moderate sugar carbohydrate rating into your diet.
In the Ongoing Fat Burn Phase you will continue to add back more carbohydrates until your weight loss ceases. You goal is to discover the optimal amount of carbohydrates you can eat whilst still losing weight
In Phase 2 you will also be reintroducing low-fat dairy products such as yoghurt and milk which will provide you with a good mixture of fat and protein.
You will remain in this Phase until you reach your goal body fat levels, size or weight.
